Bihar in India has a distinctive advantage over the other countries for exporting fresh tropical fruits like Litchi because of diverse climate and strategic geographical location. The Litchi growing area in Bihar and Surrounded by the riverbeds of old Burhigandak and the Ganga's having calcium rich soil, which is also rich in organic substance. These are found to be good for Litchi cultivation. In addition a very little rain witnesses in winter and adequate availability of mild water and full sunlight coverage during fruit bearing season resulting high yield of the produce.

Sulphitation Process:- To conform with the French / European Regulation of So2, Standard So2 assay method (D'eterminatious del a teneur en-dioxide de soufre, J.O de la Re publique Francaese 7/11/1987, PP 13003 and 13004) is used for control in lab with appropriate apparatus and competent staff. The prescribed Standard in mac.10mg of So2 per Kg of pulp and 250 mg. Per kg. of skin or in other way 600 - 650gm / tone for 50-60 mn for sea and 300-400g/tone for 30 mn for air.

Frozen Pulp Production Fresh ripped litchi fruits are being collected every day during the season and brought to the plant in shortest possible time in insulated trucks. After arrival the fruits are being manually sorted and peeled automatically and manually transferred to automatic pulper and further moved to pasteurization / sterilization unit at 90 degree and for final packing at 10 degree to eliminate possible micro organism for pasteurized pulp in food grade polyurethane kept in food grade drums and further placed to low cold storage of 20 degree to freeze and store for longer and desire period before shifting to export channel through sea port under refrigerated van.
